Target Information

CD15 (Lewis X, Le(x); stage specific embryonic antigen-1, SSEA-1)는 3-fucosyl-N-acetyllactosamine으로 구성된 삼당체 결정으로, 다양한 세포 유형(예: 호중구, 비만세포, 단핵구, 대식세포, 위점막, 신경계, 종양세포 등)의 글리콜리피드, 당단백질, 프로테오글리칸에 발현됩니다.
Lewis x에는 sialyl-Lewis x, sulphated Lewis x 등의 변형체가 존재합니다. Le(x) 항원이 높은 세포는 칼슘 의존적 Le(x)-Le(x) 상호작용에 의해 강한 자기응집을 나타내며, 이는 배아 응집 및 테라토카르시노마 세포의 자동응집 과정에 관여합니다.
Sialyl-Le(x) 및 sialyl-Le(a)는 셀렉틴의 리간드로 작용합니다. CD15 발현은 Hodgkin’s disease 진단 확인에 널리 사용됩니다.
