- Storage and Reconstitution:
Store lyophilized protein at -20°C to -80°C for long term.
Reconstitute to 0.1–0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water.

The CoV Spike (S) protein is crucial for viral attachment, fusion, and entry, serving as a target for antibody, inhibitor, and vaccine development.
The receptor-binding domain (RBD, S-RBD) of the Spike protein binds strongly to human and bat ACE2 receptors, showing higher affinity than the SARS-CoV RBD.
The S1 subunit contains the RBD, which specifically recognizes ACE2 on target cells.
