Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
C1QL3 may regulate the number of excitatory synapses formed on hippocampal neurons without affecting inhibitory synapses. It plays a role in glucose homeostasis and, via the AMPK signaling pathway, stimulates glucose uptake in adipocytes, myotubes, and hepatocytes. It also enhances insulin-stimulated glucose uptake and reduces the expression of gluconeogenic enzymes (G6PC and PCK1), thereby decreasing de novo glucose production. [UniProt]
