The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Replication protein A (RPA) is a highly conserved eukaryotic heterotrimeric SSB composed of three subunits that play key roles in DNA replication, recombination, and repair.
RPA is a major damage-recognition structure involved in the early stages of nucleotide excision repair and may also function in telomere maintenance.
Human RPA (hRPA) binds DNA with molecular polarity, initially attaching to the 5′ side of ssDNA and extending toward the 3′ direction to form a stable complex.
RPA 34 kDa subunit, also known as RPA4 (Replication Factor A Protein 4), contains 261 amino acids, localizes to the nucleus, and is preferentially expressed in colon mucosa and placenta.
