ITGB1 (Integrin Subunit Beta 1, β1 integrin subunit, GPIIa, CD29)
ITGB1은 다양한 세포에서 발현되는 110 kDa 세포 표면 당단백질로, 최소 6개의 다른 α 사슬(α1–α6, CDa–f)과 비공유 결합된 헤테로다이머를 형성하여 β1(VLA) 인테그린의 결합 특성을 결정합니다.
혈소판의 세포 부착 분자로 작용하며, 세포외기질 단백질과 결합하는 여러 단백질 복합체의 구성 요소입니다. ITGB1의 발현 감소는 항암제 존재하에서 종양 세포의 다약제 내성과 관련이 있으며, 백혈구의 이동 및 염증성 질환에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한, ITGB1 의존적 기전으로 섬유연결소(fibronectin) 및 제1형 콜라겐이 IL-1β에 대한 인간 기도 평활근의 사이토카인 분비를 증가시킵니다.
포유류에서 8개 이상의 β 서브유닛과 다양한 스플라이스 변이체가 확인되었으며, β1A는 대부분의 조직에서, β1D는 심장 및 골격근에서 주로 발현됩니다.
