Target Information

ICAD는 caspase-3-activated DNase(CAD)의 억제 단백질로, 핵 내 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 조절하는 기질입니다. ICAD는 두 가지 isoform을 가지며, 45kDa의 ICAD-L(DFF45)와 35kDa의 ICAD-S(DFF35)가 존재합니다. 두 isoform 모두 CAD를 결합하고 억제할 수 있지만, ICAD-L만이 기능적으로 활성화된 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
