Target Information
VLK는 배아 줄기세포가 mesendoderm으로 분화할 때 유도되는 새로운 단백질 키나아제로 확인되었습니다. 무척추동물에는 상동체가 없으며, 척추동물에서 고도로 보존되어 있지만 알려진 키나아제 그룹에는 속하지 않습니다.
VLK는 초기에는 E-cadherin 양성 전방 내배엽 및 중배엽에서 발현되며 이후 E-cadherin 음성 중간엽으로 제한됩니다. 골지체에 풍부하며 단백질의 골지체로부터의 수출 속도를 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
VLK 유전자 결손 마우스는 폐 발달 결함과 신생아 치사성을 보이며, VLK 변이가 알레르기성 질환인 아토피와 관련될 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
