Target Information
Rit과 Rin은 Ras 관련 GTPase의 새로운 하위군으로, CAAX box나 유사한 C-말단 지질화 모티프가 없음에도 막에 결합되어 있습니다. Rit과 Rin은 64%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가지며, 9개의 아미노산으로 구성된 고유한 effector domain(DPTIEDAYK)을 100% 동일하게 공유합니다.
이들은 Ras-binding 단백질인 RalGDS, Rlf, AF-6와 상호작용하지만 Raf kinase, RIN1 또는 PI3 kinase의 p110 서브유닛과는 상호작용하지 않습니다. 따라서 Rit과 Rin은 Ras가 조절하는 경로와는 다른 신호 조절 경로에 관여할 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
