Target Information
Rhomboid 단백질 패밀리는 성장 및 발달에 관여하는 다중막 세린 프로테아제들로 구성되어 있습니다. RHBDD1은 고환에서 높게 발현되며, Bcl-2 패밀리의 친사멸 단백질인 BIK의 절단에 관여합니다. RHBDD1의 과발현 또는 RNAi 억제는 BIK 매개 세포사멸을 각각 감소 또는 증가시키며, 이는 RHBDD1이 BIK 매개 세포사멸을 조절함을 시사합니다. 또한 GC-1 세포(정세포 전구체 세포주)에서 RHBDD1의 발현 억제는 생존 및 분화 능력을 상실하게 하여, RHBDD1이 포유류 정자형성과 관련이 있을 가능성을 보여줍니다.
