Target Information
LOX-1 (lectin-like oxidized LDL receptor-1)은 40–50 kDa 크기의 type II 막 단백질로, class E scavenger receptor에 속합니다. 내피세포, 대식세포, 활성화된 혈소판 및 평활근 세포에서 발현되며, 산화된 LDL(oxLDL), 변형된 HDL, 노화/사멸 세포, 활성화된 혈소판 및 세균 등 다양한 리간드를 인식합니다. 이러한 결합 특성은 LOX-1의 다양한 생리적 기능을 반영합니다.
