Target Information
ApoE는 지질 대사에 중요한 역할을 하는 지단백 결합 단백질군에 속합니다. 이 단백질은 지질 용해를 촉진하고 지단백 구조 안정성을 유지하며, 지단백 수용체의 리간드로 작용하고 지질 대사 관련 효소의 활성을 조절합니다.
ApoE는 간과 뇌를 비롯한 대부분의 기관에서 생산되며, 모든 혈장 지단백의 중요한 구성 성분입니다. ApoE 수용체와의 상호작용을 통해 간세포가 킬로미크론 잔여물을 흡수하도록 하며, 이는 정상적인 지질 대사 과정에서 필수적입니다. 또한 LDL 수용체(apo B/E)와 결합합니다. ApoE 결함은 고지단백혈증 III형의 원인이 될 수 있습니다. ApoE는 E2, E3, E4의 세 가지 주요 아이소폼으로 존재하며, 각 아이소폼은 단일 아미노산 치환에 의해 구분됩니다. E3는 가장 흔한 형태로, 인구의 40~90%에서 발견됩니다.
