Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in host cells. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Msi2 acts as an RNA-binding protein regulating the expression of target mRNAs. It plays a role in stem cell proliferation and maintenance within the central nervous system. Msi2 expression increases in response to brain injury, implying a role in neural regeneration. Chromosomal aberrations involving Msi2 are linked to the progression of chronic myeloid leukemia. Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing.
