Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The HSP70 family includes four highly conserved proteins: HSP70, HSC70, GRP75, and GRP78.
HSP70 expression increases in response to heat stress. HSP70 and HSC70 function in cytosolic, endoplasmic reticulum, and mitochondrial import machinery, found in both cytosol and nucleus.
GRP78 resides in the endoplasmic reticulum, assisting in protein folding and translocation.
GRP75 is located in the mitochondrial matrix and aids in folding nascent polypeptides from nuclear and mitochondrial origins.
Members of the HSP70 family are thought to act as force-generating motors, relying on ATP hydrolysis for activity.
