Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human IL17RC.
Target Information
The IL17RC gene encodes a single-pass type I membrane protein similar to the interleukin-17 receptor (IL-17RA). Unlike IL-17RA, which is mainly expressed in hemopoietic cells and binds only IL-17A, IL17RC is expressed in nonhemopoietic tissues and binds both IL-17A and IL-17F with similar affinities.
IL-17A and IL-17F are proinflammatory cytokines implicated in inflammatory and autoimmune disease progression. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been detected, and soluble secreted forms may act as extracellular antagonists to cytokine signaling.
