Product Specific Information

This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • Better specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulations
  • Broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

This antibody has specificity for Human IL17RD/SEF.

Target Information

Feedback inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor (FGF)-mediated Ras-MAPK signaling and ERK activation. May inhibit FGF-induced FGFR1 tyrosine phosphorylation. Regulates nuclear ERK signaling by blocking nuclear translocation of activated ERK without inhibiting cytoplasmic phosphorylation. Mediates JNK activation and may be involved in apoptosis. Might play a role in early stages of fate specification of GnRH-secreting neurons.
