Target Information
CTU1은 tRNA(Lys), tRNA(Glu), tRNA(Gln)의 wobble 위치에서 mcm(5)S(2)U의 2-thiolation에 중심적인 역할을 함.
tRNA와 직접 결합하며, 2-thiolation에 필요한 중간 단계인 tRNA의 adenylation을 촉매함.
URM1에서 유래한 thiocarboxylate sulfur를 tRNA의 uridine으로 전달하는 sulfurtransferase로 작용하는지는 명확하지 않음.
