Target Information
FUSIP1은 serine-arginine (SR) 단백질 계열에 속하며, RNA 스플라이싱의 조절 및 구성적 과정에 관여합니다.
이 계열의 단백질은 RNA 결합에 필요한 N-terminal RNP1 및 RNP2 모티프와, 다른 세포 단백질과의 결합을 매개하는 C-terminal SR/RS 반복 서열을 포함합니다.
FUSIP1은 adenovirus E1A pre-mRNA의 스플라이스 부위 선택에 영향을 미치며, oncoprotein TLS와 상호작용하여 TLS의 E1A pre-mRNA 스플라이싱 조절 효과를 억제합니다.
이 유전자는 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화하는 최소 두 가지 전사체 변형을 생성하며, 또한 대체 polyA 부위를 사용하는 전사체 변형도 존재합니다.
