Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The BMF protein belongs to the BCL2 family, which regulates apoptosis through hetero- or homodimer formation.
It contains a BH3 domain and binds BCL2 proteins, functioning as an apoptotic activator.
BMF is sequestered to myosin V motors via dynein light chain 2, aiding in intracellular damage sensing and apoptosis initiation.
Alternative splicing generates multiple isoforms.
