Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information
Vesicle associated membrane proteins (VAMPs), also known as synaptobrevins, are calcium-binding proteins specific to eukaryotes. VAMPs, together with SNAP-25 and syntaxin, form the SNARE complex, which interacts with NSF and alpha-SNAP to regulate vesicle membrane fusion with the plasma membrane.
VAMP is targeted by Clostridium tetani neurotoxin. In Alzheimer’s disease, VAMP levels are significantly reduced. VAMP-2 is associated with the insulin-sensitive GLUT4 compartment and is required for GLUT4 vesicle incorporation into the cell surface in response to insulin.
