Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Protein: CAMK2A (CaMKII alpha)
Function: Serine/threonine kinase regulating neuronal processes, gene expression, metabolism, cytoskeletal dynamics, and calcium homeostasis.
Autophosphorylation at threonine 286 activates CAMK2A, enabling calmodulin-independent activity. It plays key roles in dendritic spine formation, neuronal plasticity, and calcium regulation in skeletal muscle. In neurons, CaMKII alpha contributes to actin cytoskeleton reorganization during synaptic plasticity.
