Target Information

Salmonella 속은 Enterobacteriaceae 계열에 속하는 그람음성 간균으로, 운동성을 가진 편모(flagella)를 보유하고 있습니다.
Salmonella는 세 가지 주요 표면 항원을 가집니다:

• H (flagellar antigen): 1, 2단계로 존재
• O (somatic antigen): LPS 구성 요소
• Vi (capsular antigen): 다른 Enterobacteriaceae에서는 K 항원으로 불림

또한 Salmonella는 그람음성균 특유의 LPS endotoxin을 포함하며, 이는 O polysaccharide (O antigen), R core, 그리고 내독성 Lipid A로 구성되어 있습니다.
이 내독소는 발열을 유발하고 보체, 키닌, 응고 인자를 활성화할 수 있습니다.
