Target Information
BRD4는 BET 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 핵 인산화 단백질로, 인간 MCAP의 상동체입니다. 두 개의 N-말단 bromodomain, 중앙의 ET-domain, 그리고 여러 kinase 유사 모티프를 포함하고 있습니다. 두 가지 isoform으로 발현되며, 긴 형태는 C-말단에 proline 및 glutamine이 풍부한 영역을 가집니다. BRD4는 성장 자극에 반응하여 발현이 유도되며, RFC 및 SPA-1과 같은 단백질과 상호작용하여 세포 성장과 세포 주기 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 유사 분열 중 염색체 역학 조절에도 역할을 하며, 인유두종바이러스(E2 단백질)의 세포 내 표적 단백질로 알려져 있습니다.
