Product Specific Information
For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed) applications, incubate the antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Tryptase is a serine protease primarily found in mast cells. It plays a key role in immune responses by cleaving and activating proteins involved in inflammation and tissue repair.
Additionally, tryptase contributes to blood pressure regulation and is associated with diseases such as asthma, allergies, and cardiovascular disorders.
It forms a tetrameric structure of four identical subunits and is activated by proteolytic cleavage of its proenzyme form.
