Target Information
MUSK plays a critical role in skeletal muscle development and function, particularly in postsynaptic differentiation and end-plate band formation in cooperation with Rapsyn. It is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in cell communication mediated by ligand-receptor interactions. MuSK is part of the agrin signaling complex and contributes to neuromuscular junction development and maintenance.
