Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates.

Target Information

Sav1 is a regulator of STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1 in the Hippo signaling pathway, which is crucial for organ size control and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis.
The pathway involves a kinase cascade where STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1, in complex with SAV1, activate LATS1/2 and MOB1, which phosphorylate and inactivate YAP1 and WWTR1/TAZ.
Phosphorylation of YAP1 prevents its nuclear translocation, regulating genes linked to cell proliferation, death, and migration. SAV1 is essential for activation of STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1, promoting cell-cycle exit and differentiation in epithelial tissues.
It also regulates centrosome disjunction through NEK2 localization and phosphorylation of CROCC and CEP250. In conjunction with STK3/MST2, Sav1 activates ESR1 transcriptional activity via phosphorylation modulation.
