Product Specific Information
- This antibody does not react with Rat or Rhesus Monkey.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (CD45 glycoprotein). CD45 plays a crucial role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and promoting cell survival via integrin-mediated signal transduction. It is also involved in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis.
CD45 isoforms differ in extracellular domains but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. Their expression depends on cell type and physiological state. CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells.
CD45 is expressed on cells of the human hematopoietic lineage, except mature red cells.
