Product Specific Information
PA1-4935 detects Sua7p in budding yeast samples.
It has been successfully used in Western blot and ELISA procedures.
By Western blot, this antibody detects a ~41 kDa protein (Sua7p) in yeast samples.
The immunogen corresponds to the recombinant protein over-expressed in E. coli with a plasmid carrying the entire Sua7p protein (amino acid residues 1–346).
Target Information
The fundamental transcription factor TFIIB stabilizes the DNA binding of the TATA box-binding protein (TBP) and binds directly to DNA through conformational change.
Its N-terminal region interacts with the RNA channel of RNA polymerase, playing a crucial role in determining transcription initiation and promoter clearance.
Sua7p is the TFIIB of budding yeast and consists of 346 amino acid residues.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
