Target Information
MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon and a member of the CXC chemokine family. This gene is mapped to 4q21. Chemokines are known for their chemotactic properties, influencing T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection. MIG and INP10 are unique CXC chemokines that are chemotactic for lymphocytes but inactive in neutrophils.
