Target Information
Ki-67는 세포주기 중 G1, S, G2, M 단계에서 발현되는 핵 단백질로, 세포 증식 마커로 널리 사용됩니다.
이 단백질은 euchromatin, centromeric heterochromatin, nucleolus 등과 결합하며, 세포주기 단계에 따라 위치적 분포가 달라집니다.
G0 단계에서는 검출되지 않으며, G1부터 mitosis까지 발현이 증가합니다.
Ki-67 항체는 종양 조직에서 세포 성장 분율을 평가하는 데 유용하며, 낮은 Ki-67 지수는 저등급 종양과 강한 상관관계를 가집니다.
신경세포의 증식 및 세포 주기 연구에서도 표지자로 사용됩니다.
