Target Information
B cell linker protein (BLNK) is encoded by the BLNK gene located on chromosome 10 in humans. Also known as SLP-65, it functions as an adaptor protein in the B cell receptor signaling cascade. Phosphorylation of BLNK by Syk kinase enables interaction with signaling intermediaries such as Vav GEF and Grb2. Deficiency of BLNK results in improper B cell development.
