Target Information
B cell linker protein (BLNK) is encoded by the BLNK gene located on human chromosome 10. Also known as SLP-65, it functions as an adaptor protein in the B cell receptor signaling cascade. BLNK undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation by Syk kinase, enabling interactions with signaling intermediaries such as Vav GEF and Grb2. Deficiency of BLNK leads to improper B cell development.
