B cell linker protein (Blnk), also known as SLP-65, is encoded by the Blnk gene on human chromosome 10. It functions as an adaptor protein in the B cell receptor signaling pathway.
Blnk undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation by Syk kinase, creating a platform for interactions with signaling intermediates such as Vav GEF and Grb2. Deficiency in Blnk is associated with impaired B cell development.
