Target Information
TRPV1 (Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily V Member 1)는 캡사이신(capsaicin)의 수용체로, 고추의 매운 성분에 의해 활성화되어 통증을 유발하는 감각 뉴런을 선택적으로 자극합니다.
TRPV1은 TRPC3, TRPC6 등 TRP 계열 이온 채널과 구조적으로 유사한 비선택적 양이온 채널로, 칼슘, 마그네슘, 나트륨, 칼륨 이온에 투과성이 있습니다.
6개의 막관통 도메인, P-loop 막 도메인, 3개의 ankyrin 반복 도메인을 포함하며, 유해한 온도 범위의 상승에 의해 활성화되어 통증성 열 자극의 변환자로 작용합니다.
또한 TRPV1은 프로톤 유입을 매개하고 통각 뉴런의 세포내 산증에 관여할 수 있습니다.
TRPV1의 발현은 주로 감각 신경절 내 뉴런에 제한적으로 나타나며, 5’ UTR 서열에 변이가 있는 4가지 전사체 변형이 보고되었습니다.
TRPV1 관련 질환으로는 과민성 대장 증후군(IBS) 및 방광 질환이 있습니다.
