Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
SATB2 is a DNA-binding protein that associates with nuclear matrix/scaffold regions. It recognizes double-stranded DNA structure and functions as a transcription factor regulating nuclear gene expression through chromatin-loop remodeling.
It recruits chromatin remodeling enzymes such as HDACs and HATs to promoters and enhancers. SATB2 is essential for initiation of upper-layer neuron-specific gene programs and repression of deep-layer genes, influencing corticocortical connections in the developing cerebral cortex.
Mutations in SATB2 are associated with cleft palate isolated (CPI).
