Product Specific Information
This antibody is morbillivirus specific and detects phocine distemper virus, raccoon distemper virus, and human measles virus, but does not cross-react with CAV2, CCV, CPI, or CPV.
In Western blot, this antibody detects bands at approximately 76, 68, 54, and 32 kDa under reducing conditions.
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended for paraffin-embedded tissue staining.
Mouse anti-canine distemper virus antibody, clone DV2-12, recognizes the canine distemper virus nucleoprotein.
