Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal production candidates.
Advantages:

  • High specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin–free formulation
  • Broad immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to the large rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and on certain myeloid leukemia cells.
CD19 serves as a key regulator of B cell proliferation and differentiation, acting as a co-receptor with the B cell receptor (BCR) to lower the activation threshold for antigen-dependent stimulation.
Mutations in CD19 can cause hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
