This antibody detects endogenous levels of HSP90 beta only when phosphorylated at Ser226.
Target Information
HSP90 proteins are highly conserved molecular chaperones involved in signal transduction, protein folding, degradation, and morphologic evolution. They associate with cochaperones to fold newly synthesized proteins or refold denatured proteins after stress. Two major cytosolic isoforms exist: HSP90AA1 (inducible form) and HSP90AB1 (constitutive form).
