Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
FAS (Fas, CD95, APO-1) is a 46 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein functioning as a cell death receptor of the TNFR superfamily. It also exists in a soluble 26 kDa form. Activation of FAS leads to aggregation of FADD, formation of the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC), and caspase activation, triggering apoptosis.
FAS can activate NF-kappaB, MAPK3/ERK1, and MAPK8/JNK pathways, playing roles in proliferation and apoptosis regulation. Multiple alternatively spliced isoforms exist, some lacking transmembrane domains that may negatively regulate apoptosis. The Fas/Fas ligand system is implicated in diseases such as AIDS, hepatitis, and cancer and is involved in antiviral immune responses.
