MA1-06103 detects lamin B in human, mouse, rat, bovine, ovine, rabbit, zebrafish, and canine samples.
It has been successfully used in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
The immunogen is purified rat liver lamins.
Target Information
Laminins are a family of extracellular matrix glycoproteins and major noncollagenous constituents of basement membranes.
They are involved in cell adhesion, differentiation, migration, signaling, neurite outgrowth, and metastasis.
Laminins consist of three non-identical chains (alpha, beta, and gamma; formerly A, B1, and B2) forming a cruciform structure.
Defects in the LMNB1 gene can cause adult-onset autosomal dominant demyelinating leukodystrophy (ADLD).
