Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The ATP5A1 gene encodes a subunit of mitochondrial ATP synthase, responsible for ATP synthesis using the proton gradient across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation.
ATP synthase comprises two complexes:
- F1: Soluble catalytic core
- Fo: Membrane-spanning proton channel
The catalytic portion includes five subunits (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon) with stoichiometry of 3 alpha, 3 beta, and one each of the others.
The proton channel consists of subunits a, b, and c.
This gene encodes the alpha subunit of the catalytic core.
Alternative splicing generates different isoforms, and pseudogenes are located on chromosomes 9, 2, and 16.
