Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Rab proteins are part of the Ras-related superfamily of guanine nucleotide-binding proteins, involved in endocytosis and biosynthetic protein transport.
Rab 23 (HSPC137) is a 237 amino acid protein localized to the cytoplasmic side of the cell membrane and is implicated in intracellular protein transport and small GTPase-mediated signaling.
Mutations in the RAB23 gene can cause Carpenter syndrome (ACPS2), characterized by obesity, cardiac defects, polysyndactyly, and craniosynostosis.
