For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CTSL1 gene encodes a lysosomal cysteine proteinase involved in intracellular protein catabolism.
Its substrates include collagen, elastin, and alpha-1 protease inhibitor, which regulates neutrophil elastase activity.
This enzyme is associated with several pathological processes such as myofibril necrosis in myopathies, myocardial ischemia, and renal tubular responses to proteinuria.
CTSL1 belongs to the peptidase C1 family and forms a dimer of disulfide-linked heavy and light chains derived from a single precursor protein.
At least two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
