Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

RGMA is a member of the repulsive guidance molecule (RGM) family involved in multiple functions within the developing and adult nervous system.
It regulates cephalic neural tube closure, inhibits neurite outgrowth and cortical neuron branching, and contributes to mature synapse formation.
Binding to its receptor NEO1/neogenin activates the RHOA-ROCK1/Rho-kinase signaling pathway via the UNC5B-ARHGEF12/LARG-PTK2/FAK1 cascade, leading to neuronal growth cone collapse and neurite inhibition.
Additionally, RGMA-NEO1 interaction influences HRAS inactivation through the HRAS-PTK2/FAK1-AKT1 pathway and functions as a BMP coreceptor signaling through SMAD1, SMAD5, and SMAD8.
