Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The adaptor-related protein complex 2 (AP-2) is a heterotetrameric coat assembly protein complex belonging to the adaptor complexes medium subunits family.
The mu 1 subunit (AP2M1) is required for vacuolar ATPase activity, which drives proton pumping for endosome and lysosome acidification.
AP2M1 associates with the HIV-1 protein Nef, potentially enhancing endocytosis of CD4 and class I MHC.
It may also regulate intracellular trafficking and CTLA-4 function.
At least two isoforms of AP2M1 are known.
