Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Caspases are a family of cysteine proteases divided into apoptotic and inflammatory subfamilies. The inflammatory caspases, including caspase-1, -4, -5, and -12, are primarily involved in immune responses rather than cell death.
Activation of these caspases leads to cleavage and activation of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and IL-18. Caspase-5 interacts with caspase-1 as part of the NALP1 inflammasome, which mediates pro-IL-1β cleavage. Expression of caspase-5 can be regulated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and IFN-gamma.
