For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

LIPG (Lipase G, Endothelial type) is an endothelial lipase belonging to the lipoprotein lipase gene family. It is synthesized by endothelial cells and acts locally to modulate lipoprotein metabolism.
Overexpression of LIPG reduces HDL cholesterol levels, while deficiency can elevate HDL levels in animals.
LIPG exhibits phospholipase activity and contributes to lipoprotein metabolism and vascular biology.
It is a member of the triglyceride (TG) lipase family, characterized by a lid region conferring substrate specificity.
LIPG functions as a carboxyl esterase, hydrolyzing high-density lipoproteins, emulsifying triglycerides, and aiding in dietary fat digestion. It can also bind to heparin.
