Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The PTPRE gene encodes a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family, which regulates cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
Two splice variants exist:

• A receptor-type PTP with a short extracellular domain, single transmembrane region, and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains.
• A nonreceptor-type isoform with a distinct hydrophilic N-terminus.

Mouse studies suggest PTPRE regulates RAS-related signaling, cytokine-induced SATA signaling, and activation of voltage-gated K⁺ channels.
