Product Specific Information

• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 K immunoglobulin useful as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: Suitable for immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested at 5 µL (1 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount of antibody that stains a cell sample in 100 µL. Recommended cell count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
• Excitation / Emission: 488 nm / 519 nm (Blue Laser).
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a vital role in adaptive immunity, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It also regulates immune responses such as T cell activation and B cell inhibition. Widely used in research and diagnostics including ELISA, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
