Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ZF21 binds to the cytoplasmic tail of MT1-MMP, a membrane-type matrix metalloproteinase involved in cell invasion.
It contains a phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate-binding FYVE domain and regulates focal adhesions (FAs) and cell movement.
Knockdown of ZF21 delays FA disassembly after nocodazole treatment, indicating its role in FA turnover.
ZF21 also includes a noncanonical pleckstrin homology domain, a potential therapeutic target for metastatic cancer.
