Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human sCD40 Ligand. Anti-Human sCD40 Ligand-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human sCD40 Ligand by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human sCD40 Ligand (500-P142G) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human sCD40 Ligand.

Western Blot:
For detection of hsCD40L by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. In conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hsCD40L is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CD40 Ligand (CD40-L, also known as CD154) is a membrane glycoprotein and differentiation antigen expressed on T cells. It stimulates B cell proliferation and secretion of all immunoglobulin isotypes in the presence of cytokines. CD40 Ligand also induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in peripheral blood monocytes and co-stimulates proliferation of activated T cells, accompanied by production of IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2.
